Stevens Pass announced on Monday it is postponing its opening day. The resort was tentatively planning to get the chair lifts moving on Friday, but at the moment, there simply isn't enough snow. Stevens Pass in Washington is a key mountain crossing on US Highway 2, connecting the Puget Sound area of Seattle, Everett with Central Washington area Leavenworth, Wenatchee through the Cascade Mountains, featuring a major ski area, scenic byways known as Stevens Pass Green way and hiking trails.
